Who is Asia Travel Club?
Asia Travel Club (ATC) is a company that connects Influencers with hotels & travel brands across Asia. It leverages on social commerce & messaging platforms to provide a new engagement environment for influencers and travel brands across ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), Greater China, Japan and South Korea.
We aim to simplify and automate the process of influencer marketing by turning untapped inventories into a powerful marketing and retention strategy through ATC Partners Program and ATC ‘Stays For Stories’ Program. Our Program Partners and influencers can easily get connected under our ATC Social App.
The ATC Social App sits within Messenger and WeChat Mini-App platforms in 9 languages. Through the ATC Social App, leading influencers can sign up to request for free experiences from ATC Program Partners, and be awarded for posting their encounters, all in the social environment of Facebook, Instagram, Weibo, TripAdvisor, Google Review, etc.
Together with sister network Travel141.com, such collaborations are richly amplified across Asia in 7 languages, providing immediate reach into challenging markets such as China, Korea and Vietnam.
ATC is also a related company of IH Digital and iRiver Asia, which provides a 360° approach in digital marketing solutions across Asian countries, all parked under IH DIgital Group.
The Pillar of Asia Travel Club
George Foo is the Chief Operating Officer of IH Digital – a highly-rated digital marketing agency that provides simplicity and flexibility for clients’ marketing needs across Asia. While understanding how complex the Asia market can be, IH Digital aims to streamline digital marketing with its diverse account management teams, in-house native writers, and digital specialists across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Greater China. Since its establishment in 2006, it has supported over 150 blue-chip companies, and continues to serve more clients from the government to the real estate sector within the region.
Graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Finance and Marketing, George first made his mark in the media sales business when he joined a cable TV operator, StarHub. Recognising the potential of the Internet in 2000, he joined 24/7 Media Asia to spearhead its affiliate and advertising sales business. In 2002, he started a digital media sales representation company to many successes through partnership with websites like Facebook, Microsoft, ESPN, Weibo, and Baidu.
Recently, George ventured into influencer marketing in the travel industry by co-founding Asia Travel Club (ATC) – a messenger platform connecting influencers with hotels and travel brands across the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), Greater China, Japan and South Korea. He is also involved in a few other start-ups in the real estate and retail business.
Lastly, George is a man of grit, greatly known for his entrepreneurship and go-getter attitude. In his leisure time, he enjoys travelling and spending quality time with his family.
